The standard insurance amount currently is $250,000 per depositor. The $250,000 limit is permanent for IRA's and other certain retirement accounts. The $250,000 limit is temporary for all other deposit accounts through December 31, 2013. On January 1, 2014, the standard insurance amount will return to $100,000 per depositor for all account categories except IRAs and other certain retirement accounts, which will remain at $250,000 per depositor.

Here's how it works. Anytime you write a check for more than the remaining balance of your account, Herrin Security Bank automatically lends you the necessary money in multiples of $100.00 -up to the limit of your KeyPlus Line of Credit.

Your KeyPlus line of credit costs you 17.9% Annual Percentage Rate. The charge is payable on the actual daily balance, so you pay interest only when your KeyPlus line of credit is in use.

The minimum monthly payment is 5% of the new balance as of the closing date of your checking account statement or $25.00 whichever is greater. No need to worry about payments...they're automatically debited from your account. Of course, you can pay off the entire amount at any time without a prepayment penalty.

As you repay, your full KeyPlus line of credit is restored so that it is available to you again and again.
